For the Apollo x16, the engineering team at Universal Audio paired together 24-bit/192 kHz converters with new analog circuitry to offer best-in-class conversion with 133 dB dynamic range and THD+N of -129 dB

Building A Networked Studio With The Apollo x16

If you’re looking to build out a networked studio, the Apollo x16 is the perfect option for a centerpiece. The interface offers 16x18 inputs/outputs (16x16 analog I/O) and two built-in Thunderbolt 3 ports. These Thunderbolt 3 ports can be used to combine Thunderbolt-compatible Apollo Twins or other rack mount Apollos with your Apollo x16 and increase I/O and DSP. In total, it’s possible to combine up to four Apollos and six total UAD-2 devices with the Apollo x16.
