The Sound Devices MixPre-10T is a multitrack recorder, mixer and USB audio interface which is the world’s smallest 10 input, 12 track recorder, offering world-class sound quality, flexible powering, and built-in high quality, accurate timecode generator/reader.

It features eight handcrafted Sound Devices Kashmir microphone preamps which are discrete Class-A and ultra low-noise. To ensure the highest quality recording, the preamps feature 32-bit A/D conversion, -130 dBV noise floor and analog limiters.

MixPre-10T features a highly accurate, built-in timecode generator and reader. Even if the device is turned off and power is removed, it will maintain accurate timecode for hours, more than long enough for an extended lunch break or break in production. With its BNC, Aux and HDMI timecode connections, all common frame rates modes are supported.

To offer the most flexibility for portability and convenience, the 10T includes multiple power options which include the use of an external battery, internal AA batteries or an AC wall wart connection. The versatile routing allows eight combo XLR/Line inputs and a 3.5 mm aux/mic input, which can also be used for a two channel line input, camera return or timecode. Access expanded comprehensive output routing through the two TA3 connectors and 3.5 mm output each with a routing matrix.

Use the Auto-Copy feature to ensure a safe backup of everything you record. Record up to 24 bit/192 kHz audio onto an internal SD card, and simultaneously back everything up to an external USB thumb drive.

The responsive capacitive touchscreen allows for incredibly simple and intuitive operation, it is very bright and includes an IPS sunlight-readable color LCD for the most convenient navigation available regardless where you are working. Use the transport joystick to start record or playback, you can also assign custom shortcuts to the two user-programmable buttons.

Use the free Sound Devices Wingman app through a Bluetooth connection for wireless control of the 10T available on all iOS and Android devices. This can also allow you to manage and create custom sound reports.
