Back in the day (mid-’80s, for you purists), Tube-Tech founder/designer John Petersen was looking to deliver the sound of the highly-prized Pultec EQ - long out of production - to the day’s musicians. And so it was that the PE 1A - and Tube-Tech - were born. Now, a mere 25 years later, Softube has brought the magic of that sound to the digital recording world as a full-blown Mac/PC plug-in, available in both native VST/AU/RTAS and TDM/Venue formats.
