The REMIC Mics B5201-WLM is supplied with a TA5M connector allows you to connect the REMIC microphone via a variety of adapters to selected Shure and Sennheiser wireless transmitters, which enables you to gain maximum flexibility to move around on stage during live productions. It also enables you to connect the B5201-WLM to a standard XLR wired connection.
Due to the fact that most wireless beltpack transmitters do not provide 48 volt of phantom power nor a balanced input stage, a series of REMIC MICROPHONES have been designed to support selected wireless systems with unbalanced input circuits and a BIAS voltage of 3 to 8 volt.
The B5201 is designed for studio and live productions and delivers a natural and open sound, an extreme accuracy and fast transient response that captures the finest and most delicate overtones of the instrument. The B5201 series fits on all modern bratsch/viola, while the V5200-series for violin/viola fits well on all baroque style viola instruments. The B5201 is a high definition condenser microphone with superior feedback suppression and high isolation of nearby instruments. Since there is no clamps and clips in order to mount and hold the microphone, you retain a full and undisturbed view of the fretboard.
Built-In Windshield
The built-in windshield is designed to drastically reduce wind noise in open air performances. The windshield is placed inside the microphone and is therefore invisible and non-removable. With the built-in windshield option, you do not need to add any other windshields to your microphone. Choosing the variation with the built-in windshield will not change the quality of the microphone in other performance contexts.
