Spatial Audio Designer (SAD) - Producer Plus

The SPATIAL AUDIO DESIGNER (SAD) is the market leading high performance pro audio tool for creating content and monitoring in surround and 3D. Uses are e.g. movies, music and games.

The SAD enables the mixing and monitoring of any surround or 3D format with speakers or standard headphones on any DAW.

Independently of the host DAW bus structures, which are commonly limited to eight channels, the SAD enables the monitoring and mixing of all current and future audio formats. Stereo, 5.1, 7.1, 11.1 and 13.1 are just a mouse click away from each other. If no appropriate loudspeaker system is available, the SAD provides a high quality, flexible and personally adjustable HEADPHONE SURROUND 3D speaker virtualization for standard headphones.

Furthermore, the SAD can import panning and volume automation data. Hence, an existing multi-channel 5.1 mix session is just minutes away from being a discrete 7.1 mix and maybe a day of evolving to a 13.1 Auro-3D mix for cinema, home or mobile entertainment application.

For exhibition and event applications, the SAD is also available in special configurations to mix on format independent speaker arrays.

Besides all this, the HEADPHONE SURROUND 3D technology of the SAD opens the door into a completely new dimension of audio production. Format independent mixes with multiple speaker arrays using all three dimensions, at different distances and locations, can be created parallel or in one mix. Making music, film, radio-play and game mixes like they have never been heard before is now possible. Spatial Sound Card Pro (SSC) Standard

The Spatial Sound Card App is a software based, virtual sound card. It provides speakers for stereo and surround monitoring for the computer with standard headphones.

Professional monitoring of audio content usually requires complex, high-quality speaker installations, for which both budget and space are needed. The Spatial Sound Card enables monitoring of stereo and surround up to 7.1 with a standard headphone on the computer.

The Spatial Sound Card is a virtual sound card that is inserted between software, operating system and audio hardware. The room virtualizations originate from a constantly growing number of high end studios and dub stages like the ARRI Stage One, MSM Munich and others. The technology used in the SSC was used on major Blu-Ray releases (e.g. The Expendables I and II).

To optimize the virtualization the SSC provides parameters to customize the frequency curve of the used headphones. Presets for a lot of well-known headphone models are included, more will follow soon.

The Spatial Sound Card works with all applications that support multichannel audio output. These include media players like VLC and FLAC-Player as well as video and audio workstations. The SSC is recommended for media professionals from the audio, video or games area as well as for agencies and companies with workstations that need high quality audio monitoring.
