Don’t let the single knob configuration of the Desire Boost fool you—this is not your typical clean boost pedal. We like to call the Desire Boost a “Dirty Clean Boost” because it adds awesome "grit" to your sound without mutating the quality of your tone.

Utilizing a JFET gain stage, the Desire Boost’s circuit adds up to 18dB of boost while the single knob modifies the drain voltage of the JFET, giving the Desire Boost its unique grit along with the gain. When combined with a good tube amp, the Desire Boost can produce tones as wide-ranging as clean with a just a touch of the ragged edge to psychotic, spitting fury. It also features very high input impedance specifically designed to act as a buffer, eliminating unwanted noise from your cables and pick-ups so you can wring every ounce of tone from your setup.
