Evol Lucifier

The Evol Lucifier 500 Series Mic Preamp is a unique, all discrete design using an all balanced, transformer coupled signal path which contains no capacitors. This simple to use but versatile preamp features a -50dB 6 step input pad with an audio responsive, backlit control knob to indicate real time sound levels. It also features a set of backlit pentagram selector buttons consisting of an input impedance selector (150/600ohm), phase inversion selector and phantom power selector. The Lucifier Preamp has a clean, clear top end with a tight and beefy bottom end. The DI input is a discrete, balanced, high input impedance JFET design and routes the signal through the input transformer as opposed to directly into the preamp circuit. In true Evol style, the front panel is hand finished in real wood veneer and the preamp is built by hand in our shop using the highest quality components.
