The Ehrlund EHR-D is a mic special designed for drums, but can be used for guitars and horns as well. Additionally, metal producers prefer it for loud, screaming singers or growlers. To say this is a drum microphone might be too limiting, try it out on any loud source and you will love it!

It can handle higher SPLs than the EHR-M and features a housing made for the rough life on the road. With more background dampening and and less width than the EHR-E, it is able to better isolate drum to drum leakage. Toms and snares sound amazing in this little friend and standard tom mounts are great if you like to use stands off.
