Clean, Classic Compression
Now you can have the sound of a classic tube optical compressor without the noise and low fidelity sound often associated with them. In a compact and versatile package, the Demeter HXC-1 HX Series Compressor sets a new standard for sonic quality in tube compressors. The HXC-1 is a mono tube compressor utilizing the revolutionary H tube preamplifier with a classic photo cell compressor section. The unit has a variable attack (.5 to 100 millisecond) and release (100 millisecond to 3 seconds), input sensitivity switch, overload LED, compression control (over 24 dB), change and VU meters, side chain outputs, link inputs, low frequency compression sensitivity switch and output gain control.
