The Aston Stealth is an innovative dynamic microphone with four unique voice settings designed for recording a variety of sound sources. This broadcast-quality mic delivers unparalleled performance in almost any situation. Equipped with a built-in Class A preamp, automatic 48 V phantom power, and a unique internal shock mount system, the Stealth is the world’s most versatile microphone.

FOUR-IN-ONE

Stealth provides a choice of four pristine sounding voice settings, painstakingly captured by a panel of more than 90 world-class audio engineers. Unlike most mics which use destructive filtering, the Stealth utilizes four pure, high-quality signal paths to achieve a wide variety of sounds with minimal phase distortion.

Choose between two separate “vocal" settings, optimized for different vocal tones. Bring stringed instruments to life with the “guitar” setting—perfect for acoustic, electric, clean and distorted tones. Dial in a vibey vintage sound reminiscent of classic ribbon mics using the “dark” setting.

ACTIVE MODE

Although Stealth is technically a moving-coil microphone, it can be used with or without 48 V phantom power. When in passive mode, Stealth works just like a traditional dynamic microphone and can be used with any traditional preamp to deliver a beautifully clean sound.

Stealth is equipped with a unique autodetect function that senses the presence of 48 V phantom power and automatically switches the mic to active mode, which utilizes the fully balanced Class A preamp, eliminating the need for external preamps.

INNOVATIVE ASTON DESIGN

The Stealth is outfitted with a proprietary internal shock mount that totally isolates the capsule from the mic chassis, eliminating the need for an external shock mount. Stealth’s precision-tuned headstock delivers a laser-focused cardioid polar pattern with enhanced off-axis rejection. Finally, a custom molded end cap features a built-in XLR output and quick release stand mount for quickly and easily setting up and tearing down during recording sessions.
